(50k on drive) the implementation of the eyetoy for character head generation is nice too.ġ. I've mastered a couple of the songs at medium and expert. Good character customization, multiplayer (real multiplayer) support is awfully nice, too. Between the arcade modes, integration of DDR (although it would be nice if one of the challenges wasnt DDR+SINGING expert mode) 8 footing + singing a song is HARD.

(jimmy eat world, billy joel, to name a few) Other cases, there were good songs, but those artists have MUCH better "singable" songs Seems as unless I watch american idol, or care what the 'disney-esque' stars do, I'm doomed to oldies.Īlso, some of these songs REALLY just aren't good "singalongs"ĥ, 7, 10 (just go "uh oh" 500 times, and you'll get a perfect score), 19, 31, 43 [can someone tell me who "fantasia" is?, & 44. My main gripe is that a good portion of the songs are things I've never heard of. Also if your not really into Karaoke i would recomend a try (like a rental) before you buy.

The only person i wouldn t recomend this to would be those who arent comfortable singing around others and what not, for thats the main part of the game, singing. Overall, the game is great for Karaoke fans, still good for a party, and moderately good playing by yourself. Playing well on the songs unlocks more songs (approx 4 unlockable songs i believe), and items to further customize your character (you chose a character to sing in the background, not that it matters much for you will most likely be paying attention to lyrics and how must you sing). I dont own a DDR Pad so i'm not sure how that game play is, but i can also say the game is still tons of fun without it. Also for those Dance Dance Revolution fans, their is a singing and dancing mode where you sing while dancing on the DDR Pad. Theirs a bit more to it then singing, Their are 3 minigames that use your voice. Up to 8 players can have a competition singing. The game is fairly simple, pick a song you wish to sing (Next to Volume 1, Party in my opinion has the best song selection from mainstream artist Like Hilary Duff and Jimmy Eat World to older artists people love to Karaoke like Aha, and Billy Joel), and sing it, your score depends on how well you keep up with the song (you don't need to be a singer to play well, I'm living proof of that).

This is a game I would strongly recomend for anyone looking for a game that can keep the attention of a small group of friends (up to 8 I believe). Great Party Game, and still fun for single player.
#Usb overdrive with gamecube series

Multiplayer modes offer a variety of mini-games and singing challenges.New to the spin-off Karaoke Revolution series is support for a Dance Dance Revolution floor mat controller, and some modes of play challenge performers to not only sing, but also dance along with the song being played, following on-screen prompts. In the single-player version of this game, singers can unlock new characters, accessories, and venues with good performances. As in previous releases in the series, players sing into a headset microphone controller and the game analyzes their performances according to pitch and rhythm.
